Hangeul Academy was founded by a small group of Seoul National University graduates who believed language learning should be warm, human and culturally alive. Twelve years later we have guided more than 4,800 learners — students, K-pop fans, engineers relocating to Korea and families preparing for life in Busan.
Every course blends structured grammar, daily speaking drills and authentic Korean media, so you don't only pass an exam — you order tteokbokki, chat with colleagues and understand your favourite drama without subtitles.
Join on campus in the city centre or live online — the same instructors, the same materials and a free placement test so you always start at exactly the right level.

We are not a video library. We are a small, warm training centre where your teacher knows your name, your goals and exactly which grammar pattern you keep forgetting.
Every teacher is a certified native speaker with a Korean-as-a-foreign-language qualification and 5+ years in the classroom.
Capped at 12 learners so you speak in every single lesson instead of listening to a lecture.
96% of our exam students pass on the first attempt, with an average jump of two full levels per course.
Morning, evening and weekend groups. Switch between campus and live online any week, at no extra cost.
Weekly culture labs — K-drama listening, hansik cooking nights, hanbok photo days and Korean film club.
Recorded lessons, a private study community and free refresher workshops for every graduate, forever.

Classrooms, culture labs, field trips and graduation days — a look at what a term with us really feels like.
Still unsure about something? Our student advisors reply to every message within one working day.
Ask a questionAbsolutely, that is our most popular entry point. The Hangeul Starter course assumes no previous knowledge at all: you learn the alphabet in the first three weeks, then move straight into greetings, numbers and everyday phrases.
Most students studying three lessons a week reach TOPIK Level 4 in nine to twelve months. Our intensive track compresses that to roughly seven months for learners who can commit to daily practice.
Yes. Every group runs as a hybrid: join on campus or live on video with the same teacher and materials. All lessons are recorded and available in your student portal for 12 months.
You take a short 15-minute placement chat, then sit in on a real class at your level. Afterwards your teacher sends a written recommendation with the exact course, schedule and study plan we suggest.
All digital materials, vocabulary decks and mock exams are included in the fee. Printed textbooks for TOPIK courses are available at cost price from our front desk.
You can switch level or schedule free of charge within the first two weeks. If the course is not for you, we refund the remaining unused lessons — no paperwork drama.
Tell us your goal and current level — an advisor will reply within one working day with a schedule that fits your week.
